Ran into this with BoA PR Diamond "lifestyle benefits" when purchasing a Tonal. The benefit was advertised as $1500 off, and the public offers at the time ranged from $500 to $1000 off. Originally thought it would stack, but in order to redeem the $1500 off you had to use a special link to purchase which did not display the public offer only the $1500 off. So, disappointing, but at least it was clear before you got too far into the process. Still a better deal than the public offer, though.
