it's safe to stop at the CS desk in CDG and ask for policy confirmation. I would certainly not book the Sheraton upfront knowing its price. And, apart the obvious convenience, the rooms are nothing to write home about.
Using the CDGVAL train, just at the Sheraton entrance, you can reach in 5 min plenty of decent hotels at the Roissypole stop. I can recommend the Pullman.

PS : are you one of the "victims" of the drones problem at OSL ? (affected CPH too) ?
