AmEx Platinum customers have clearly messed up their e-commerce operations. If you see the Oura thread, they have shutdown certain purchases from AmEx Platinum customers entirely. It is possible after the first wave of customers, they are talking internally what to do about all of these AmEx close to $75 purchases.
It would be interesting to know all the internal negotiations between Amex and their new partners.
