Very interesting thread and fully agree that Aegean website is super non-informative and in some cases also contradicts Aegean's app.

In my case:- I enrolled into the program in Feb 2025
- I earned first miles in May 2025
- I will obtain silver status in December 2025 (if I decide to credit to A3)

Now my question is – how much time do I have to upgrade to gold status? Do I have 12 months from earning first miles (May 2026) or from obtatining the silver status (December 2026)?

Why does it matter?
- If the latter is the case, then I would easily accumulate the miles until Dec 2026- If however May 2026 is the cut-off date for upgrade, I would probably be better off NOT to obtain status in December 2025 and wait until a year since my enrollment "lapses" and start the intense mileage accrual from June 2026
