yes indeed - although if you have two cards, probably makes sense to use them!
if you happen to be in the right part of the train - you can go up the ramp, out the barrier, back in the barrier, back down the ramp ... in about 90 seconds!
sometimes the first train to East Croydon will be going to the
wrong destination - so you're not even losing any time ... and improving your step count!
