P.S. In the first sentence of your post there is a typo: DWF instead of DFW.
Thanks...her flight _to_ DFW was also cancelled eventually (so I cancelled the DFW-MSP backup booking), and she was rebooked the next day (via ORD)...had 3hr delay in ORD due to weather, so all-in-all, pretty stressful journey for her to see her ailing father. But got there in the end.
