I have an award ticket (booked with Iberia Avios) in economy for MAD-ORD that is currently showing the ability to bid for upgrades on the online portal. Does anyone know if paying for an upgrade converts an award ticket to a revenue ticket for the purposes of earning on other OneWorld programs?
