This would be a deal breaker for me. Thailand is known for its friendliness and hospitality. It would appear that the staff here doesn't understand that they are in the hospitality industry.
And even more surprising at RC who generally have very high standards on such things (and should, in Bangkok, easily be able to find staff who are good at this).
