in any case, I’m flying TLV-JFK later this week and was booked in PS in P tariff. Got a notification from EF a few days ago that I fare became available, and indeed going on DL’s website I is now shows as available and I’m quoted a fare diff of $630. However, the change fails, so I reach out to DL by chat. There, I’m told that the fare difference is actually $560 dollars in my favor. Meaning - I upgrade to D1 and get a partial refund. This was processed promptly and I got a new ticket refund. I also now see my refund on my CC.
Don’t complain. Take the win and smile.
