I am travelling solo this weekend and in a city that has some options. I would greatly prefer to order carry out as I am not a big fan of eating in a restaurant alone. But their carry-our order process uses Toast.
I guess I could go and place the order in person, but would prefer to not have to wait around.
A lot of us Plat cardholders (including me) are new to this Resy thing. But it’s been a thing for a long time for other Amex cardholders. Here’s the thread on that:

I read through that thread, and I came away with the sense that if a Resy restaurant bills through Toast, that’s probably not a problem, but it could be.
Gift cards may or may not work. But if you can’t dine at a Resy restaurant on or before September 30 (end of 3Q), you might consider buying a gift card at a Resy restaurant for $100 and see what happens. Be aware that this $100 gift card may actually cost you $100 if the statement credit does not come through.
