That's entirely possible, but meal flights would have to be crewed differently (5 FA instead of 4) to accommodate the extra workload up front and a new 'position' created to handle F meals in the rear galley. I suspect we will either see pre-ordered canned on the 44F fights (like we did on the NEO before they fixed the oven size issue), or have DL put them NYC/WAS/Florida-ATL snack basket flights.
There wouldn't necessarily be a need to crew a 5th FA. They could just have the crew split 2-2 instead of 1-3. The total economy seat count is the same as on the A319, which has 2 FAs for economy. So I could see them having 2 FAs taking care of F full-time. If the hypothetical second oven is indeed in the aft, that will be the biggest challenge for hot meal service to be doable on this aircraft.
