The rates both cash and points are pretty attractive for this property for ski season. And with the new gondola, the options for ski access are even better.

But one thing that's hard for me to understand is what the public "hang out" situation is like. I don't need a big party or anything, but one of my joys of skiing is after a long day going down to a hotel bar or a cozy lobby (preferably with service), having a drink and maybe a snack and people watching while I talk to my wife or read a book. But outside of maybe the club lounge (which I do not have access to), there are few photos or discussion of this type of thing.

The other question I have for the skiers here is how conditions are that low down. At something like 6200 ft in elevation it seems likely that the snow getting back will be super slushy or icy from freeze/thaw, depending on the time of day. That's okay, but I'd love to hear from people who have been there what their experiences are.
