I have now seen peoples views on the best and worst, I am wondering if we all look for different things in our judgements, if you could choose 3 features what would they be to make a difference to your choice. e.g. could great customer service make up for a crap hotel, or could crap customer service spoil a good hotel, could a great breakfast (if you have time) make up for a lousy bed, could an upgraded bigger room make up for bad location e.t.c.

I will start with my top 3, it is hard as cleanliness and comfy beds and pillows are high on my list. The food is not the biggest issue as you can eat out normally, but it is hard to 'sleep' out. Oh and I love massive rooms

1. Location / facilities
2. Customer service
3. Value for money (whether it be free upgrade or great rates)

I must say that SPG Platinum has made a big difference to my loyalty, well it will until I stop getting benefits
