Indeed, 45 mins is quite tame compared to some of the times I’ve been quoted at IST (and significantly better than the 3 hours I was quoted last week at the QR Al Safwa lounge).

But thanks for the report and a shame you got caught up in weather related issues at EWR. Based on you still flying on a turkoflot 359 out of EWR, they must’ve done a JFK-EWR repositioning flight. With all of that, even though it’s not fun, surprised the total delay time was only 4 hours. And I’m glad to hear that the (lackluster) SAS lounge is again accepting TK pax and that it’s open until midnight. One question, you wouldn’t happen to have a picture of the J dining menu ex-EWR?
