For those of us who decide to just liquidate our access investing accounts and exit our MS relationships, how quickly do you think Amex will close our Plat accounts due to no longer having the required MS relationship?
Why bother closing out the Access account? Just withdraw anything over $5k, close the CPP account and then wait for them to transfer the account to E-Trade. If your annual fee isn't due soon this might get you another 5-6 months before you get shut down entirely. Or maybe longer.
