Tasting notes :

Meal orders taken before departure, from the front moving back. Offered choices were “lamb”, “risotto” and “prawn salad”.

Lamb was fine, if a bit fatty. Presented with a hint of BA-signature crusty rim.
Warmed bread roll was plonked on top of the cold starter, so was coated in germinating seeds and white sauce-stuff.
Millionaires shortbread appeared to have been soaked in neat sugar syrup, and was inedibly sweet.
”which reds do you have ?” was met with a blank-panic look and a rush back to the galley to bring back 2 bottles for presentation
G&T contained 2 slivers of almost-melted ice, so was still at ambient temperature. Customer with severe nut allergy on board, so drinks were served with golden oat biscuits instead of savoury snacks.
General service haphazardness included a dropped basket of biscuits, dropped tea cup, a dropped (empty) coffee pot and a drinks cart that was so top-heavy that it started to topple over down the aisle and thankfully was caught by an alert customer before it crashed to the floor.
