What's even weirder is that their bill-pay system (that handles this) is completely different depending on if you have a BoA checking account or not.
Thanks! I will probably log in to our B of A account daily to make sure the balance gets paid.

One would almost suspect they deliberately make it difficult to pay off the full balance and avoid interest and penalties.. Nah...
