Hmm ok thanks. I perhaps misunderstood; having now priced it up as a return trip Avios booking it does seem to charge me £625pp taxes and fees which is what I’ve ended up paying.

So, it’s cheaper to book two one way tickets? And essentially therefore if you’re using a 2-4-1 you’re penalised.
