As Oliver pointed out, DL just announced they're ending JFK-BRU. So your options are SN out of JFK or UA out of EWR for nonstops.

Sure, cancellations stink. But at least with SN you are owed 600 euros comp regardless of whether you leg starts in EU or US because they're an EU-flagged carrier subject to EC261 on both ends. If you fly DL and they cancel JFK-BRU you're owed nothing.
