UA924 (IAD-LHR) last night:

We were delayed almost two hours due to a broken lav - ended up departing around 12:30am local time.

Menu was off based on what was displayed online - choice of lemon chicken with rice (menu showed butter chicken), cheese enchilada (menu showed pasta), or pot roast.

Lemon chicken was solid as always and very filling. Better than anything served in domestic F IMO - actual chicken breast too, rather than the weird processed pieces of chicken you sometimes see.

Dessert was good, and better than what they used to offer...ingreidient list was surprisingly natural. Didn't eat the hummus, but saved it for today (made a nice snack at hotel).

They need bigger trays IMO. I thought they were supposed to be trialing a fresh, warm bread from basket on IAD-LHR?

Breakfast was again different than the menu (displayed as chocolate croissant) - had a choice of apricot croissant or breakfast panini with turkey bacon, Swiss cheese, and an egg.

It's nice that there was a choice - portion size was good for flight of this length IMO.

Mixed WAS/LHR cabin crew were great.
