I choose breakfast for welcome amenity as a Diamond Ambassador, and tried for 2 days.
They had buffet sections, offering hot plates like BBQ pork fried rice, steamed rice roll, steamed Chinese yam for Chinese-style food, and typical Western breakfast, and featuring a noodle bar. But the choices is relatively few compared to InterContinental Grand Stanford. Cold plate like salad bar, salmon, ham and cheese, donut, bread, egg tart sweets are also offered. For me, the quality is slightly above average for buffet.
They also had a la carte menu for egg waffles, french toast bread puddings and pineapple bun (Boh Lor Bao in Chinese), just tried egg waffles but it's just stunning (perfect match with matcha cream).
Overall, I agree with Enigma368 that the hotel is underrated right now, based on the views of room, and nice and friendly staff.
Hope it helps.
Cheers. What room upgrade did you get?
