I'd recommend going to the check in desks to ask about lounge capacity unless you're on one of the later evening flights. They'll give you £30 if full. Note that the Upper Deck closes at 2030 and stops serving at 2015.
Sooner the better. In the upper deck earlier this morning and it was poor. (Security area was the busiest I’ve ever seen it)
