Funny, I’ve flown one long-haul flight (EWR-PVG, right before the pandemic) in PP, on a 773, and I was in 22B (it was the last non-middle available at booking, and was really hoping for the PlusPoints upgrade). It was not a bad seat, sure, probably among the worst…But it didn’t bother me at all…A 15-ish hour flight, you’d think the lavs would start smelling and whatnot, but in my memory of that flight 5-6 years ago, I don’t recall lav proximity to be an issue, at least to me. YMMV
