Depending on the credit card, A List and credit card benefits are very comparable in terms of seat selection and baggage. Having both does not provide much extra benefit compared to having either. With the wifi benefit on the credit card disappearing (and wifi becoming free for RR members) and the annual fee increasing, I plan to cancel my Southwest credit cards as I organically have gotten to A List in the past few years.
