Forgetting using a companion voucher for now, does the forum have any advice for using Avios (have around 500,000) plus cash to lessen the weighty costbof Business class flights to New Zealand from LHR via any of the Australasian hubs? Brief look for tickets next Feb-March seems to be circa £10k for the two of us but I suspect I am neither being clever or cunning on how to best use my cash and Avios. Dates are not hard fixed but must go from LHR and must be flat bed.
