I often seem to have connections in the 70 minute range late at night (e.g., MUC-CDG-SIN) or early in the morning (e.g. HKG-CDG-MUC). These can be fine if the arrival flight is reasonably on time. That's often not the case, though. Delays of 10-15 minutes are common, 30 not unusual. And that makes for a very nerve-wrecking connection. I was on a HKG flight that docked at the gate 32 minutes late this morning (6:22am) and had to reach a MUC flight that closed at 6:50am. I made it by 6:44am, but only because I was in row 1, was assertive at secuity and have a Schengen passport. Folks at the back of economy who have to queue in the foreigners lane have little hope of making such a connection, and if you walk slowly and don't know your way around, the odds aren't in your favor either. And of course if you have to wait for wheelchair service, it's pretty much impossible.
