Hi all, I'm flying soon on a light fare, and would be carrying some liquids. If possible, I intend to just check in my cabin bag which would be perfectly sufficient, but if I'm not allowed I'd have to pay for extra luggage. I can see a decent price for a single piece of luggage now, but would there be any difference in price if I postpone it until I'm at the airport and know for certain that I can't just check in my cabin bag?

The flight is HER-ZRH-WRO and the first leg is operated by Edelweiss, second by Helvetic. I am Volare Executive but as far as I know that won't give me anything on short haul light fare.
