I arrived on the KLM flight from Amsterdam last month. There were no other flights arriving at the same time as ours, so it was not busy at all. There were a couple of GE facial recognition kiosks on the side wall. You will see this area with the Global Entry sign on the left when you first enter the immigration hall. After getting photographed by the kiosk, there is a line to wait in to speak with an officer. I was one of the first off the plane and there was no one ahead of me. The interaction was very brief. The officer asked to see my passport and if I had any food. I showed him my box of chocolates and I was good to go. After that, there is a short walk to the baggage claim. After retrieving my checked luggage, there were no additional checks and I exited.
