Yes I was able to find two nights on points. Additionally, the reservation agent made a separate reservation for the 2nd night on points, cancelled the 2nd night on the initial reservation and it showed up as available again, but he was not able to apply the award. That's when he read an internal email stating that revenue is the one who will make the determination of when to release the night for the BOGO. In the end, there were two rooms available on points and yet the award could not be applied.
Were the two available rooms the same room type? That has been one of the other sticking points.
