I came back a week ago from a 6 night stay and wanted to quickly share my upgrade experience. I originally booked the standard room and about two or so weeks before arrival I received an email from the hotel. I responded asking how much is the cash cost for an upgrade to an overwater bungalow and was quoted at about $600/night for a Deluxe Overwater Bungalow, I kindly declined. A few days before our arrival I saw on the Hilton App that I was upgraded to an Endless View Villa with Pool. Fast forward to check in, I asked about the upgrade for an overwater bungalow. Sophie, the lady that checked us in and looked over us during our stay, thanked me for being a Hilton Diamond member and then said that an overwater bungalow is too big of an upgrade even for a Diamond member. She said that if we wanted the Deluxe Overwater Bungalow it would be about $500/night, I kindly declined. We stayed in the Endless View Villa but unfortunately our room did not come with a pool. I asked Sophie about this and she said that the Hilton App mistakenly showed the wrong room or something of that sort. The villa is a good size with ample room for two adults but our views weren't great. We were in the villa closest to the tennis court, which at the moment is where they are holding construction materials for their renovation project. On our second day of our stay, I asked Sophie that I was willing to pay $200/night to be moved to an overwater bungalow. She responded saying that her manager would do the upgrade for $400/night. Again, I kindly declined. Fast forward to our fourth day, right after breakfast I got an email from the resort saying that we were being upgraded to a Deluxe Overwater Bungalow for the last three nights of our stay.
