Try logging into the old frontend (by going to the "Book flights with Avios" page for instance: https://www.britishairways.com/trave...club/_gf/en_gb - this will make sure you're actually signed in, something that NX doesn't appear to do)

Then go into MMB again and the check in button should now send you to the old check-in frontend, which might work better in some cases.
