Changed Apple Watches and soon will change iPhone as well. Previously had the VX in my Apple Wallet. Restored from backup and was able to add the VX to my Apple Wallet.
I then need to click 'verify' which launches the Capital One app to activate. I click activate and it fails.

Called C1 customer service and they say it's because I'm currently outside of the US. Tried with VPN and does not work. Currently abroad and no access to a US mobile network, even roaming.

Has anyone been able to understand what logic is used to re-activate C1 cards in Apple Wallet? Seems like such a ridiculous constraint - especially for a travel card!
