I'm very happy to fly with AF and will pay a little extra for it, but it's not a mindblowingly good product. Up to 25% extra on top of the cheapest offer is how I value the product. Great food and drinks, and most crews are fabulous.

As for KL, I'm willing to pay a large extra to not fly them (in longhaul J). Absolutely not, the food is downright tragic and while crews tend to be friendly, they're usually not very interested in customers or embracing the idea of providing any service beyond the bare minimum. At most I'm willing to reluctantly tolerate KL on shorter routes like DXB, but I definitely wouldn't book them on "proper" Asian routes which exceed 10 hours.
