The AF J product is good but honestly, veterans of us know that the crew can be hit or miss. With both AF and KLM, changes of appareil are frequent for TATL, so don't make a reservation expecting a type of product. For Asia, it will depend on the routing. Certain routes like PVG and HKG are pretty reliable, others less so.

Inconsistency is probably the best way to describe things, you can have a great crew and the product you want, or sometimes not.

I am not sure why you would fly AF/KL from Europe to Asia though, as the Asian airlines are better in terms of service (IMO) and sometimes also the catering. Also they have to avoid Russian airspace, so that adds quite a bit of time (and cost).
