It does indeed look like YYZ - Aruba is not on AC's summer schedule.

The most likely possibility (that allows accrual of status miles to my Aeroplan account) is a US return flight from YOW, via Philadephia, that costs (incl taxes and fees) CAN$1300+.

I would pay slightly more, if I could get AC to fly to a Caribbean/South American destination near Aruba (I would pay for H fare or perhaps if it not too expensive, a M fare (which would allow for upgrading at the time of booking) - allowing me to use the SWUs), and then take the cheapest economical regional flight from that destination to Aruba. So far, by going through ITN, travelocity, and expedia - I have not found any Caribbean/South American destination that AC flies to in summer, which has good connections with Aruba. The best option is the AC flight to Trinidad, with limited connections from there to Aruba?

Any thoughts regarding any other options?
