Eh, some good and some bad at Hilton Belgrade, but a fantastic location. Here are my impressions and photos from last night’s stay:
Note: I didn’t ask about late checkout as I didn’t need it due to my flight schedule.
Pros:
- Received a T-72 hour upgrade to a One Bedroom Suite (shockingly)
- Bed is generally comfortable - medium mattress, plush pillows, covers aren’t very thick, but that seems common with Hilton
- Shower pressure is good
- Location is quite central and is as close as you can get for the A1 shuttle (400 RSD) to the airport
- EUR to RSD exchange rate used for the rate was fair
Neutral:
- Lounge is kind of dark and small - dessert choice during evening service was something I couldn’t figure out what it was and a “crème brûlée” that was really just a pot of cream
- Breakfast in restaurant is…fine - they have a menu, but it took very long for me to get my order and their take on eggs Benedict with salmon was just odd (see photo) - machine coffee is just okay
- Service on day 1 was kind of cold - it was better at checkout with a friendlier associate
Cons:
- Cigarette burn holes on couch and generally couch didn’t look very clean (could see old stains, etc)
- Towels seemed old, thin, and scratchy
- Shower gel container in shower was basically out
