You are right – English is not my strong point, which is why I asked ChatGPT to help me phrase my post more clearly.

To clarify: I did not want to request a refund. My goal was to check/change the travel dates and possibly the outbound route. The problem is that the refund form cancelled my ticket immediately without showing me the refund amount or asking for confirmation. That’s why I feel the process is very unfair, especially so far in advance of the travel date.

I completely understand that non-refundable tickets have strict rules, but the way the system is designed leaves passengers with no transparency or second chance to stop the process.
