To each their own view. I would never cancel a card before the year is up. But I really don’t have a functioning card, was told up to three months after they received the form

ETA: I had sent in my form Aug 31, didn’t wait for the letter to arrive in the mail as it was shown in the app. They received it on Sept 4, unlocked my card Sept 11. But never removed the warning from my card or communicated it to me. Just found out by following up.

Poorly and negatively communicated (threatening tones on “we will cancel your card”), but at least it was quick.
