CTA without a passport only works one way, the Irish make you carry a passport to all intents and purposes. We, as ever, have an open border....
I'm not talking about flying from the UK to Dublin. I'm talking about actual domestic flights within Ireland. Donegal to Dublin and Kerry to Dublin. On arrival to Dublin they get mixed in with international arrivals and funneled through immigration like everyone else.

In theory the same could happen at MAN T2. Though may be against UK government regs.
