Hi all, I read the previous discussion on this thread but it's a little confusing. I currently have a JP JAL card (I live in Japan) and have 1100 LSP. I will be moving to the US by the end of the year, likely before I hit 1500 LSP. My goal is to get that so I have lifetime OWS with benefits also for my wife. My understanding is that I can get the JAL USA card to continue accruing LSP through spend, but is there anything else I need to do to get JGC & OWS for myself (for life), and is there any way for this to pass on to my wife? Am I at an advantage if I can somehow keep my JP card? (I am a PR in Japan, and will come back at some point). Thanks!
