I’m fishing around to book a few stays and other than Vegas (where I think deposits are fairly universal) I’ve not encountered the requirement, so not likely a new Hilton policy but property- or location-specific. One of mine is an SEC home football weekend and I was kinda surprised to not see a deposit required there as I do run across them from time to time during special event periods - any of that going on in your cities?
