Upgraded at the PH due to being Hyatt Globalist, they gave us a xx05 executive suite. Sure the breakfast may be a smidge behind the PH Seoul (not to speak of the excellent Japanese top Hyatts), I find the rooms, sauna, service and value to be excellent. I love it.
Currently checked into Paradise, and it's clearly inferior. Club lounge breakfast was fine but forgettable, room hard product is the equivalent of a western 4*. Service is ... serviceable but not warm and attentive, it's just fine.
It does have the benefit is proximity to this lively area (highly recommend my friend of friend's cocktail bar Overdo, dive bar eque with fun hiphop and interesting expats.) Of course, the Korean fish restaurants are top notch. One building we went to had five of eight floors with hoejip.
People go to Paradise for the Le Mer heated pool, public baths and beach access. It's a huge casino hotel with many cheaply renovated rooms. PH is getting a little long in the tooth after 12 years too. That being said, I'm still going to PH 9/10 times for the service and F&B quality levels.
