I've never had any problem with baggage UA-BR. Just allow some extra time if the check-in agent isn't familiar with how to do it. They'll probably need to talk to the help desk to get an override if they haven't done it before. RNO would have on and off issues that needed the Help Desk to override something, I don't remember if it was with my baggage allowance with my OZ status or just UA IT..

Once you get the bag checked through, the system will also almost certainly check you in and spit out a BP. In every single case where I interlined bags across multiple tickets I got the BPs for the 2nd ticket.
