If not, I'd personally use the SQ lounge for food, and then wander around or hang out anywhere in the airport. It's very empty these days, finding space is not hard.

I was wondering why United (and Thai) had delayed reopening their lounges for so long and didn't realize HKG's passenger figures were still down so much. In the US (and I think also globally), they've fully recovered, so I was surprised to see HKG's 2024 passenger count was 52.9 million, down 28% from its 2018 peak of 74.4 million. 2025 is on track to 61.1 million, which would still be down 18%.
