No More Chase Reconsideration Line?
Called the number listed for reconsideration, which I’ve successfully called regarding prior applications. This time, after entering my SSN, I was told by a recorded voice that my application was in review or denied. No opportunity to speak to a human. A letter sent to my Chase account said I’d been denied for too many recent applications (two biz card applications about 4 months ago, both approved). I’d hoped to speak to a rep to close existing accounts or transfer credit.
Has anyone else encountered this? Any recourse?
