Hello everyone!

I was recently on an American airlines flight ( about 2 weeks ago). The flight attendant on board was giving out american airline advantage credit card applications because they were having a promotion in regards to introductory miles if you apply. I don't normally apply for those things on the flight but the promotion sounded good & the flight attendant said she would put everyone's applications in a lock box so that it would be safe. It has been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything about the status of my application. So, I don't know if it was process or worse lost. I called citibank who handles the aplication - they could not help me & suggested that I call American airlines. I called them too. No one can seem to help me. I am wondering what happened to my information & kicking myself for applying for a card in that way. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have insights. Please be kind. I am asking for nice helpful advise. Thank you!
