Are seat selection fees incurred on the RTW ticket for us that do not have oneworld status? If so, are they added on top of the RTW cost only when in contact with an airline and making a RTW booking? Thanks
I have no status other than BAC Blue when I booked my RTW (DONE3) last month yet the agent was able to reserve seats on 11 of our 16 sectors. Yes, JAL blocks almost all window seats for it's higher status holders so 3 out of 4 JAL sectors are aisle seats unlike other airlines we're flying where we've got row 1 or 2.
