Any fees for seat selection are determined by individual carriers. The fare product itself doesn't dictate conditions. Such fees are paid to the individual airline at the time of selection and aren't part of the charge for the fare.
So those are included when during an airline's online booking tool or with an airline's telephone booking person? That can add a few extra £100s to the RTW price quoted by the oneworld tool.
