Well, guys, if I might break into your private chat: CameraGuy, I can’t say if you are right or wrong regarding doc’s intentions. It’s pretty hard to know what is in one’s heart, particularly someone who is only an Internet connection. As actions speak louder than words, I would pledge to turn off my post counter if that was a FT feature, and then let others follow or not. Then we would see who walks the walk, and who only talks the talk. In my case it’s a little meaningless as I’m not out to win any land-speed posting records. I don’t think that I would be any less annoying if my posts weren’t counted. But only time would tell. Maybe we could borrow some “Just Say No” buttons from my daughter’s school and pass them out at the next FT event.

It was been brought to my attention that my “Ruth” reference responding to Counsellor was even more obtuse than usual. I simply meant to use a Biblical allegory, rather than pedantic hyperbole to, and I prevaricate not, point out that Counsellor’s erudition is of such crystalline and callipered certitude that I would wish nothing but to be a minion in his cerebral constellation.
