Okay … my partner has Gold status and is flying on the same record locator with 3 other people (4 people including them in total). Currently, no upgrades are requested, as the reservation has not been split. I understand only one companion can be included as upgrade eligible, but my question is if they split the reservation into Gold + 1 then the 2 others on their own, do the 2 on their own lose the ability to check 1 bag for free? I think they do, but just asking. Thanks!
